Celina Jaitley opens gay Film Festival in India

Though she is less known for her acting skills, Celina Jaitley is better known in the tabloids for her support for gay and lesbian rights activists. Stepping up on the gas to cement her association with the queer crowd the celebrity has inaugurated “Kashish”, which its organizers claim to be the biggest gay film festival in India. The festival which begins on April 22 will showcase more than 100 gay, lesbian, and transsexual-themed films from 25 countries.
"This is a festival which brings together filmmakers, writers, intellectuals, academicians, activists, celebrities and stars with both queer and mainstream audience in an interactive celebration of queer experience," Celina said.

Kites climax revealed: Ends with leads committing suicide

The highly anticipated Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori starrer Kites is just around the corner. But the climax of the romantic movie of the year is out and it isn’t a pleasing one to digest for the fans of Hrithik. Both lead characters commit suicide at the end of the movie.

In the final scene, the characters played by Hrithik and Barbara jump off a cliff facing the sea (Now where have we seen that before? Aah...Dhoom!) and it’s implied that they won’t make it back alive.

Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori, who play lovers in the film, die in the end. They jump off a cliff into the sea. As they jump to their death, the film ends. Both are on the run. The law is chasing them and so is the mafia. There is no other way out for them,””
