As her counterparts in Bollywood are taking some time off their busy schedules to campaign for political parties in India, Shilpa Shetty has taken up that role in the UK. When the actress said UK was her second home, we didn’t expect her to be so closely attached to her “second home” that she’d take up the role of a campaigner for a British MP.Shilpa Shetty has been requested by her friend and British MP Keith Vaz to join his campaigning in Leicester East. The actress has known Vaz since she was invited to meet Prime Minister Tony Blair after winning the reality show, Celebrity Big Brother in 2007. It’d be interesting to see how Shilpa charms the voters in the territory concerned. Shilpa’s forte – her signature jhatkas and matkas – will work for sure.
